Schwinn what?

Im going to go look at this gem in a minute, but im having trouble figuring exact model. Dx frame right? I just dont know..... hoping one of you schwinn guys can shed some light.

Looks like a Schwinn hornet/DX. Possibly a Tornado. I would say early 1950s. Wrong seat.

Tornado was a straight bar I thought

Seat not right. I'm doubting those are s-2's on it. I cant tell if there is a badge.

Im having trouble finding any pictures with a curved frame and that sprocket. I know it may have been swapped at some point but i doubt it

I would say it's a Hornet or a postwar Dx/Spitfire. I have a balloon Spitfire with a tank and that Sprocket. This has a similar frame design.

I would go for it. The frame is worth that if not more.
