Schwinn work Jacket

I bought this last week. A size 42 “factory trained” work jacket embossed on the back and a patch on the front of the jacket above the pocket. It fits too! This came from a Tennessee Schwinn shop.

I used to go to Indy every year and some of the mechanics of the "better" teams wore white. Usually, their garage in Gasoline Alley and their car was spotless and I always thought they were sending a message that there are no grease monkeys here, just professionals as in no oil leaks, etc. They looked like "car doctors."

I worked in the body shop at a Cadillac dealer many years ago when they were the epitome of class and we got a weekly delivery of uniforms and were expected to keep ourselves looking professional at all times as customers would sometimes come into the service area. We often picked up and delivered vehicles needing service and the dealer expected us to project a Cadillac image.

Scour the thrift stores for an old dressmaker's form. Hang the item on that...like a headless/armless mannequin.
