I'm the Wiz, and nobody beats me!
Okay, I'm looking through my brake lever stash, and I'm trying to pair up a set of levers for a 46/47 B6.

I can mate a pair of non scripted levers, but wouldn't a 47 model require scripted levers?

What's the consensus of opinion on when the levers became scripted?

Oh!

And one more thing, what's with the upside down script?

Was that just poor attention to detail during reproduction stage, or are they legit?

Thank you Bob!

Your expertise is much appreciated.

The funny thing about the whole scripted lever deal, is that I have found quite a few left side original levers, but I can't find any original right side levers.

I would've thought that the right side levers would have been pretty common since most of the bikes that used them, only had a drum brake on the front and a coaster brake on the back.

Maybe that's why there are so many n.o.s. left side levers floating around. Nobody used them, so they just collected dust all these years.
