From these ads it looks as though a change in badge may have happened between 1896 and 1897...

Thought probably the above ad really needed to be shown in full to include text

My conclusions so far...the most accurate visual representation of my frame I can find is this 1896 ad for the 97 's (above). It is very possible and likely that my frame could be later but based upon information I can find this is the firmest foot hold. So if I was to go from that as a guide to the correct components and from all pictures I can find (from earlier thread on this forum and Rydjor bike collection)

of Andrae bicycles the attached photos may show the correct components..

Julius Andrae & Sons Company after 1897 went through some major changes (like allot of the cycling industry) opening a new factory between 1898-1900, and greatly expanding their line to include models at all price ranges. With the over-saturation of the market at the time and obvious new technologies, their building of bicycles seems to have soon faded. The company grew their electrical division offering telephones and became one of the biggest in the area. Information about their bicycles after 1898 seems very scarce, "The Pneumatic" by 1900 goes from a "Bicycle Magazine" about the cycling industry in Milwaukee to a "Literary Magazine" to a "Household Magazine", Ha ha. If anyone has anymore insights or information about later Andrae' or ideas on the components plz post..

Also btw I haven't been able to draw any specific conclusions about saddle and bars so if anyone has please feel free...

well sorry to be as boring as I might be in next few posts...Ive been sorta stuck on this as I've had time and....probably most who could care less about "Andrae " wouldn't care.. as this is mostly for my own learning;..but if anyone interested in Andrae bicycles in the future might..
