Seat pan help?

I have this seat that seems to have the frame installed upside down. I thought it was a Phantom as it came on one but it is longer and clearly is not unless I’m missing something. This is it compared to a Messenger 7000 which I was under the impression was the same or very similar to a Phantom seat. It had niuts and bolts holding on old re cover so I don’t know if those rivet holes are original but I would think the wear tab holes are. Any help appreciated.

I'm being told this is an early Phantom seat, I was unaware the size of the seat changed

The small molded saddle is late 50's . The pan, because of the side rivet holes is mid-50's [ I think post '52 ] The early saddles didn't have the side rivets. A safe bet would be is your pan is 53-54......or there abouts.

I think the rivets came out in 51 and used up through about 55 when the plastic seat came into being
