1938 Elgin, bore in frame measures .750, all my original seat posts are .625, is there a special shim or a different post ?

I’m not sure on the specifics but I have a couple frames, Rollfast and a Westfield that have a shim. I am having the opposite problem with another that my post goes in about to the bottom of the split in the frame to pinch the post , no collar.. I think it’s a smaller size that is opened too far and tapers back to the correct size and I need a shim and a slightly smaller post.
I don’t think they’re too hard to find. I have made my own and replaced it when I picked up a new shim at the swap meet.

This is the thickest shim I’ve used. It was the post and shim that came with the frame when I got it.
