14k for this beauty https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/bik/d/seattle-bicycle-built-for-6-or-sextet/7047117701.html. Ad reads:
SEXTET Multi Cycle
Vintage 1895 est.
Extremely rare,
A multi cycle was used for cycle pacing at the turn of the century and was made obsolete by motorized bicycles. The King of Multi cycles is the Orient Oriten on display at the Ford Museum, Dearborn. There was only one ten seater made and it was for promotion use only. The fewer number of seat the more common it is. Six (Sextet was the largest)
From research this is believed to be a Peter J. BERLO 3 Steer Prototype Sextet Multicycle. It was purchased from a Seattle Bicycle Store in 1963. Made CBC National News in 1967.
Yes to reasonable offers. No it's not running, Yes you need a high ceiling for display about 16 ft. long. 2 other sextets known and they're in museums. Price is in American dollars. Crating can be arranged for an addition $1,000.00. I will assisted in shipping
