Seeking any info on this Pre war standard 20” tank

These bikes are typically German or Austrian in origin. The date would be somewhere between 1956 and 1960ish. Sears sold them around 1956-1957, I would assume this bike is from the same date or later since it uses the JC higgins style chain-guard. I'm not sure who made them exactly, there may have been several factories building bikes to similar specs. Steyr, Bauer, etc.
