Shelby identification

I need help with the year and model. I'm sure it's not the original color. The green almost looks brushed. Wheels were obviously spray painted by evidence of white paint over spray on the spokes.

Sorry I wasn't sure where to post this. I ended up here because it said identification. Could a mod move my post to the correct thread?
I see it has a riveted plate on the BB. I cannot read the numbers due to the thick paint. I will carefully remove the paint and report back. Thanks for the help.

I am guessing that a chemical paint stripper would be best? I am afraid a wire wheel could damage the numbers if they are not deeply stamped.

The bike is post war. Some Goof Off or thinner may removed the paint. V/r Shawn
