Bought a 2004 trek coaster brake 3 speed with the express intent of swapping wheelset onto older frame. I understand fork and rear chain stays will require spreading and washers need to be oriented properly. Question, is there going to be a chain line problem with an older front sprocket? I do intend to use a sprocket 40 teeth or below to keep gearing close. Any suggestions? Hills are getting steeper around here. Thanks for any reply or thoughts Rick
