Shimano 3 speed

Aging is something I hate to think about but the knees talk to me! Trek bike with a coaster brake 3 speed for sale locally, anyone here use one? I understand our older frames need to be spread a little, does that give chain alignment issues? Any thoughts? Thanks for any replies Rick

I've installed on a few of my bikes ('48 roadmaster, '46 Schwinn, Spaceliner, and a '53 Huffy) they do help a lot, especially when a higher tooth hub sprocket is added. I've had no problems with them (I've used Shimano, Sachs, and Sturmey Archer).
