Shippers beware. New tactic by USPS to avoid paying claims
Thanks for all the good advice. Showing the proof to the USPS clerk at the post office yesterday moved things along. He didn't believe me at first. He told me it was delivered. When I pointed to the time it was delivered he was speechless. He figured that the carrier made an error when logging the items back into inventory at the post office. The funny thing is one was logged in at 6:15 pm and the other at 1:45 am. I didn't know he was there so late

I use informed delivery service and it helps to keep track. They also show a picture of each days letters before delivery and you can provide delivery instructions for packages. It list packages as they are out for delivery and they time they are left. I find it has been very accurate for me.
