Recently received 2 frames with 3 forks in a bubble wrap plus thin black rubbery material and can’t really tell if there was any additional significant damage that was not already done in the last 100 years. ~$103–
Some baling wire was used but the repaints were already toast anyway.

Really. So a bicycle in a box can be shipped as luggage on an airline?

Different airlines may have their fees and limitations; but if the passenger wishes to ride the bike from the destination airport, then the packaging should probably not involve box cutters to open.

Yeah, I'll definitely be paying UPS in cash and don't be surprised if you see a package from me with a return address to a John Holmes. lol I've heard of $1000 oversized charges happening a week later. So ridiculous!!!

Just wait until UPS goes on strike to see what the pricing does...
