I asked Dave Brown if he could work his magic on a rusty, crumbling 1890s saddle I had. He would have to make a new mold for the leather, but he agreed to help. Not only did he make a new leather top, but he cleaned up the metal and wood too. Thanks Dave! Here it is next to its old skin:
