Measure the diameter of the tube to which you're attaching the clamp. Multiply that by Pi (3.1415....) and add to that on each end how long you want your attaching tabs. Thats the length of the strap. Drill attaching holes equal distance from each end of the strap. Bend the tabs 90°. Lay the strap on the tube and bend it around the tube and line up the holes.
