I’m pretty sure that stud was originally part of the reflector. A replacement reflector will have the stud.

Hi glassguy, here’s a pic, it’s pretty basic

Found rear reflectors available for it, now curious if it's diameter is 1 3/8" or 1 3/4". Gauging off of yours, it 'looks' like 1 3/4", but pictures can be deceiving...

It appears Huffy used a NorthEast Tool & Die Works #3 light with the recently redesigned front bezel. A year before, they used the older version on the "Americana".

Hhmmm, I think I have that light, repainted black and white. Tried to identify it a while back and Facebook group didn't have any good answers. I'll post pics when I get home to find it.

Thanks for the ad! I saw a Monark Americana for sale on Ebay a while back and posted it looking for information, without getting much response. If Monark built these, it must have been just at the end of production.

What is this Monark? | Stuff on eBay, Craigslist, Facebook etc.

From what I gather, Huffy bought Monark at the end of 1957, about the same time as Schwinn's patent on the Cantilever frame expired, so Monark never built a cantilever frame. This could be a re-badged Huffy, but it doesn't look like the Huffy frames I'm familiar with. What is this...
