Identified Snyder built 28” Hawthorne flyer bicycle

I can’t seem to figure it out. I originally thought colson or schwinn based on the hearts but no idea. That exact sprocket isn’t in the sprocket thread. Serial starts with an R so not schwinn then? New era for me. New project. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Ken

I thought Hawthorne was just the badge. Wasn’t sure if the bike was manufactured by someone else.

Montgomery Ward did not make bikes so you are correct. I’ve seen at least three variations of the sweetheart sprocket and I can’t place that one offhand. It’s not Colson or Schwinn.

Not Schwinn built although the Hawthorne flyers in '23/24ish were built by AS&Co. @SKPC The fork is different than the earlier Michigan City Excelsior forks.... Not a typical Hawthorne Flyer snowflake sprocket.
