So I bought a Heavy Duti.

Browsing FB Marketplace late Saturday night and came across a later model (Haven't de-coded the serial yet but it appears to have the post-1975 chain guard) Kool Lemon Schwinn Heavy-Duti for 65 bucks. Unfortunately it was already pending. I sent the guy a message anyway asking if he'd give me 1st shot if the first buyer backed out. He said sure. Got another text around midnight saying it's all yours. Cool!
Picked it up on Sunday. Pics to come soon. It's all original and 100% there, but looks like it sat in a damp barn forever. Chrome is all rusty, etc. I don't want to restore it necessarily. I'll clean it up as best as I can and preserve the patina. One question for you guys: Does anyone reproduce the correct 26x1 3/4" tractor tires? Mine look pretty rotten.

No repop Tractor tires. A few different choices for the S-7 wheels new, but no tractor tread. Please post pics asap

Haha, it was too dark to take pics by the time I got home yesterday, but I promise you I will tonight and have them up tomorrow! Hemi426, it doesn't look like that one. It has the earlier style fork and older screens. Also looks like the rear fender is two pieces? It has a weird joint right on top of the rear wheel. Never seen anything like it.

I would love some pics of the underside of the welds on the cantilever bars at seat post and where they connect to down tube.

Here's the 'two piece' fender upon closer inspection. Haha! Someone mated two good fender sections with a piece of sheet metal, some silicone, and four screws. I have to admit I've never seen that method before.
