This looks almost identical to prewar hard rubber tired sidewalk bike I almost bought, except for the blue color. Guess I should have offerd more for the bike. Cool little bike.

An easy aesthetic to love. The balance of the weathering, the completion of what remains. This will be a STELLAR product in final form.

It's crust is from rolling into it, not sitting still....
Not sure "Preserving" is correct term for this though.
Loving the Crust, b/c "stuff happens"; and there's other stuff i'd rather do,
than clean my bike again.

Here's some pix I took with some vintage Firestone and Fisk rubber with new tubes. Still crispy and crusty as the day I brought him home. Looking good so far. Enjoy.
