Look Ma, No Hands!
I’m putting a feeler out there for my fairly nice old 1971 Raleigh International. There is plenty of paint wear, the bike would be perfect for a full restoration or keep it as a rider. Chrome also is not perfect with some scratches and light corrosion in places.. Great new tires, otherwise the bike is almost totally original with all Campagnolo Nuovo Record components. Original Brooks seat is nice as well.. Non-original Araya rims. Nice period Fischer odometer on the front wheel.
I’ve got no history on the bike other than knowing it was sold originally in Chicago likely based on the frame decal. There is no damage to the frame and the next owner could likely put a little more elbow grease into her and she could be beautiful.
I’m motivated to sell-but not give it away. I’m in the 53182 area code, 20 miles south of Milwaukee, WI, hour north of Chicago. I prefer not to ship. Sorry for not posting initially-if like to post my asking price as $800, negotiable however. This bike deserves a proper long term home.
