has some old crusty bicycle related items he found on some property he purchased. Does anyone see anything of value? He said IF he did sell, it would be all or nothing. I know nothing about these parts and am simply looking for info. He’s doing nothing with any of it so I’m encouraging him to sell!! What do you see?
Three bikes (or parts of them), Columbia has great bones!
Tally Ho badged bike is a wall hanger or will require very special skills😳
The last unbadged bike was simply cool in it’s time, not even sure this is a wall hanger. Anyone recognize it?

I just noticed the bend in the rear part of the frame on the Columbia....bummer!

Also, note the cut tree limb in the Chain Ring, he said he left it there because it looked cool!

Hi, granted, most everything there is in fairly rough shape, but even in this rough shape, a lot of the items are still usable or restorable. Some pretty scarce or even rare items there. A rough but usable rare part is better than no rare part. I see that there are lots of early chainrings, 1890s -1920s, I see some early 1900s hubs and hub parts. Looks like there could be some Corbin Hub stuff. That biggest chainring looks like it could be from a Racycle. 1800s pedals and cranks. So long as the price is not too high, I would be very pleased to come across a haul like that. I personally don't see a lot of value in the frames as a hole for say, but what I would hang my hat on is the cumulative value of the individual parts. This lot is like a box of old jewelry, everything in there is of some good for something, some things are better than others, and there are few diamonds in the rough mixed in. I would buy that lot, so long as the price is not more than like $200 or so, $100 would be ideal, and $200 would be pushing it I think. Everything there will take A LOT of work to make usable, aside from those items to be used as wall hangers.

Too bad about the all or none sales technique; (a 1-pound part with 200 pounds of stuff). And too bad that some of the parts were all mixed together after disassembly.
