HEMI426

Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Is a Cosmic Flyer the same as a Strato Liner and Space Liner,it looks similar. Is this one all OG, did they come with Davis Imperial tires. I bought this today and cleaned the chain guard side of the bike only. It's going to the Canfield swap next weekend and could I get $300 for it ya think. It looks pretty complete. Is it a 60s or 70s bike? Thanks for any info. Does a single red band hub mean a kick back 2 speed.

I will say that it is very possible to get that price if you find the right person that's looking for one of those in that condition. Heck, there's a member here that's has a $3000 price tag on his 63 Sting Ray and the paint is all beat up.

I would think so as far as getting the 3 for it.

The bike is stock, aside from the speedo add on, although it could have been installed at the Western Auto prior to sale.
Biggest difference between the Strato and this is this didn't come with the tail light on the carrier. Similar, yet different from the Spaceliner mainly due to the western auto style headlight bezel.

A huge plus is the candy apple red isn't sun faded, which is more typical than not. Aside from the pedals being a bit rough, it is really nice. If I was in the market for this style of bike again, I would pony up the asking price.

As per the rear hub, it is a simple Red Band, or RB2, it will show that on the brake arm. RB2 is from May 1963 on, so it is most likely an RB2 on it as the frame style was released in Fall of 1963 and very few of them had the Red Band (even though it is a red band on the hub, not all parts were the same). Both were a single speed coaster brake.
