Space Commander Rocking Rocket

I picked up this fun Delphos Bending Co. "Space Commander Rocket Ship" over the weekend at the Tulsa Flee Market. Had to have it since I'd never seen one before. It was missing the front foot pegs, dash & hand controls/grips. I was able to find a few pictures of some OG Rockets and quickly made a reasonable facsimile dashboard. It will go on display in my shop, as soon as I can make a space for it.

Nice. Ya gotta love plywood space craft. No shop should be without one. Reminds me of the cardboard rocket ads at the back of comic books. If I had been able to come up with $2.98, I would have sent away for one of those. Have fun.
