I plan on buying some Velocity Blunts as replacements for some wood wheels. I'll be using New Departure hubs front and rear.
What's the correct spoke size I'll need? Thanks.
Not sure, but 292mm might be close, for the 32-holes x 3-crossovers versions.
I found that one might save a buck or two with the 32-holes front; holes cost money.
Might be more like 296mm for a 36-holes x 4-crossovers version.
I use an effective rim diameter of 593mm (296.5mm radius) for 28” velocity blunt.
Looking for spoke lengths for 28" Lobdell wood rims 36 spoke with New Departure Model A rear hub and New Departure Model M front hub. Is there a chart somewhere? This is for a Harley Davidson.
I know I've done these before but can't fully remember at the moment. I know I have it written down somewhere. I believe it was 11 1/2 but I will double check for you.
