I got it unloaded there is certainly a lot of scrap but there are also some good pieces and parts. Many of these were in lots so that why there are some real garbage.
Sounds logical to me since you enjoy getting out and are able to enjoy the drive and scenery; cathartic. I always carry a road and off-road bike (also have spares at the destination) on my drives (+1200 miles) to take a break from driving, stretch the legs and enjoy the area in a more intimate manner. I drive a mini cooper so not much extra room to load up roadside/yardsale treasures (I can fit 3 complete bikes; yea, verily!)
It looks like financially my logic is sound. I bought the trailer load in Nebraska and a collection in St.Louis and others a long the way and have sold enough to be even. I still have a garage full a bunch in the basement and a pile in the back yard.
