Here is a photo of my Sterling Bell. I am glad to learn more about it. The other side of the thumb lever is blank on this one.

As for using sterling for ball bearings, I would not recommend it. Steel is much harder than sterling.

Too cheap for that many bells. Maybe sterling is a brand of ball bearing or something
