So just to be clear, in 1966 schwinn did NOT make a 5 speed Stingray…. a 5 speed FASTBACK, yes…. I believe my fork is a Stingray fork, and not a fastback fork

It is obvious your fork is a Stingray fork, No 5 speed Stingray in 1966 the Fastback is a light weight.
