stranger things clogging up ebay- future investment?

If you got in and sold early they were an investment. I have an “In” at CSG/Pacific cycles and it sounds like since it was so popular they may do another batch. They are not supposed to come out till the 30th but collectors went out early and bought all the ones in the Target stores. Target still has about 800 for online sales.
I have 2 of these bikes if anyone wants one!!

Yeah, it was only a matter of time.
When a Cooks Bros. Seat post clamp sells for nearly $2,000 and it looks like something that just about any one of us could make in our garage, it’s only a matter of time.

Marty,
Over $2K
Not billet, those were forged or cast
just like the clamps on the goosenecks.
Cook worked in CanAm as a fabricator for Penske. He wasn’t another fly by night bmx bandwagon builder, he had experience and talent. You look at the Uni Stem, that was years before everyone used the same design for all road and mtb bikes as the threadless fork and clamp. Those TIG welds are works of art. There is a reason why Cook Bros has a cult following despite a seemingly mediocre frame geometry design, people appreciate the quality.
