My other concern is about his that gearbox axel attachment sticks out.....waiting to get tagged off! I ride my mtn bikes hard on technical with derailleurs and they take a beating like my body but this nexus bump out seems fragile. I'll just have to be careful and keep both the bike and me upright!

Just run it with a wire derailleur guard. I think they look cool.

Haha Partsguy.....I know those tags well.....I install window treatments and remove those tags every day! Hopefully, no one lobby's congress to enact a law to attach warning tags to long bike cables!
