Wore out three sets of tires already!
Does anyone have any tried and true methods for freeing a stuck gooseneck from and old bike that's been sitting outside for the last 60 years? I'd really like to save everything, but if I have to saw off the neck and just trash the fork/neck that would be a bummer, but I'm hoping someone has a trick up their sleeve...

i use pb blaster and let it soak for days at times but some time I just break the bolt and knock the wedge out.

lot's of wd-40 and if that doesn't work I heat the bolt up.

The bolt isn't stuck,

It came out fine. The body of the stem just wont let the fork go...

Did you tap the bolt down to free the wedge? I'm wondering because you say the bolt came out. If you didn't free the wedge, thread the bolt back in a few turns and then hit it with a hammer to drive the wedge down and away from the bottom of the gooseneck.
