Just got my Delta Jet Rocket light and a pair of phantom tanks.

I decided to go with the severely pitted tank as it seemed to be a better fit for my distressed og painted black phantom

1947 Westfeild built JC Higgins. I think the frame is original... I added the chainguard. everything else is suspect. seat is similar to the era and maufacture. bars may be original... maybe. fork wrong, fenders wrong, its got Perry rear, weco front hubs, flat s2 looking wheels with a hook bead. I am thinking about tossing some columbia stuff on it. No solid ideas yet.

mardi gras Sounds like a fun time, I've never been.
I couldn't plan any trips for a while as the bike fund has depleted the bank account considerably...here are a few items that showed up this morning.

Western Flyer headlight horn combo

Persons Majestic wind powered siren and a Seiss hand crank siren (which I need the back mounting bracket for it...anyone have an extra?....can't mount it without it.)

Phantom Tank Choice !

Excellent...I'm thinking the same on mine !

2jakes....given the amount of heavy scratches and faded paint. I decided, that since I was not going to do much to the frame, that the only choice on a tank was to get a pitted chromed one. It matches the fender chrome pretty close.

Lets see you distressed painted Phantom if that is what you have.
