I just finished a complete service and refurbishing on this 20" 1956 Spitfire I picked up last year for my great-grandson. Before and after photos show the oxidized red paint. Following tips here on the CABE brought that back to life. Thanks! It was all original, missing only the reflector. I found a period NOS WALD on eBay I put on it. Original tubes and tires were still holding air but the tires were so cracked I replaced them with a new set with the same brick pattern. Had planned to re-cover the original seat but recently came across the slightly newer red & white style I think looks nice on it. I repainted the completely faded head badge, the rest is still all original. This one's a close match to my childhood 1950 D-12. We'll have fun riding together when he visits!

This sprocket is pretty weird. It has a threaded hole with a morrow driver attached. I'm thinking early motorcycle. Anyone have any idea?

Yesterday, @Goldenrod and I went to pick up my new beauties! I got a 1948 Safticycle Cruiser and a 1947 Moto-Scoot delivery model. Both bikes started very easily for sitting 20 years. Here’s some pictures of me, my mother, and @Goldenrod.

This is one of three. I have one and they are powered by a modern engine with a Comet transmission. It is a stump puller and a racer. This will be pinstriped.

Just more timepieces for me this week. Seiko SSK005 GMT, Vulcain Cricket--these watches have a neat history!, a pre moon Omega Speedmaster, and a solid gold tri-color case from a fairly obscure Swiss maker-Tavannes.
