I found this Roadmaster roadster !

By far the best thing I got this week was MEMORIES made with my young son!
17 hour road trip from Michigan to Paris Texas to tour the Alexander shop where Rocket bikes and Alexander scooters were made! The owner donated these pieces of John’s workbench to our museum! Including the piece with johns name!

We also met Jerry Nelson who in 1983 bought out all contents of Alexander’s shop/ factory! And donated these paint cans used for painting rockets and other bikes, pieces of flashlight holders, and tricycles out of Alexander’s! All donated to our museum!

This was the only souvenir from Tennessee. Found laying in the dirt on the side of the road. Has a hanging bracket too

Winter projects are tough for me because I work on a ski racing tour that travels from mountain to mountain here in the Norteast on weekends. As such, my projects traditionally wait until spring. One of my three main spring projects this year is a Punnett Companion for my wife and I to ride. So imagine my thrill when I came across the below Companion brochure on eBay for $22.99 Buy it Now. I couldn’t pull the trigger fast enough. A very exciting purchase.

I have this one coming in from Texas. Special thank to Rolando for babysitting it until it gets picked up. This is coming from the original owners family. Ed is looking through some old photos and is going to shoot some over so we can keep the history going. Another thanks to @fordmike65 for the assist

Apparently there was a 1942 Hawthorne All American that was made!​

The typically chrome plated chain guard,truss rods on springer and rims were now painted pieces! No optional 2 speed on this one...And no Torrington Safety pedals (Just standard #8s) Sadly this one has a frame break,but plan on having it fixed soon. NOW I have a 40,two 41s and a 42!! VERY excited!
Note; this had WHITE Hawthorne grips ..Anyone got one,or a set?
Id LOVE to find a Wards catalog from 42 with this in it..
This paint is NICE and should clean up fantastically,except the rims have a few rough spots.
