McCauley Cycle Works
Happy New Year folks!
JD is having some log-in trouble this morning and asked to have this customary thread started by proxy.

So let's see what classics you've found or received from the past week.
Whether, it be bike related or not.
Please, include pictures as we do love pictures!

I'll start us off with a very exciting ca. 1891 Bidwell "Ball Bearing" hub cyclometer that I had the pleasure of removing from an old hub and playing with for a couple hours.

Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Busy few days here. I unloaded a bear-of-a-crate that belonged to racer Will Stinson along with his Red Wing, G. W. Grady New England Cycle Co. bicycle, with his initialed saddle. Huge thanks to @kccomet. A beautiful photograph reproduction showing Columbia’s exhibit in Paris arrived from the French Bibliothèque. The image prominently shows the racer Model 44; this will look great displayed with my Columbia 44. The 1988 Mountain Klein from @Leoncito arrived (thank you!); I am looking for parts to make it factory stock. I am also thrilled to finally get this 19th century lithograph of the Columbia/Hartford factories; it is almost 5 feet wide! It will be sent off to a paper conservator to de-acidified and have the stains removed.
