Picked up this mess yesterday. Hiawatha, Flying Wedge a couple girls Schwinns. There was a rusty tricycle in the pile too. Junkman Bob came and got the Hiawatha this morning along with another bike

Then David M showed up and we made a trade and I got this.

Moving forward with my dream car build. I splurged on a legit English wheel this week and got my "beater bag" and mallets. I've got the donner vehicles here and I discovered the black one has a LSD differential which was a pleasant surprise. I started making this scale model so I could see the car in three dimensions. The rusty blue "420G" I bought for the engine but I've kind of fallen in love with it and I'm dreaming of building it into a rat rod drift car.

I had British cars, before I had my drivers license. Love the hand built ones.
My last one was a rare 1975 Jaguar XJC-6.
It had a 4-speed overdrive, rear torsion bar, and European spec trim and bumpers.
Good luck with your metal beating.

Been doing more selling spares than buying lately...I have plenty of good material to work with! I have instead been focusing on tool & technology upgrades as well as shop organization.

And if I ever need inspiration I just look to the heavens...

This is a 1930's toy gas pump made by Wyandotte toys. super rare. 4 out of 5 seem to be red. a green one came up a month ago, but I was out bid, this one is missing the glass jar on top where the gas would fill it up and show how much you bought. the complete one was over $100.00 more!!, I'll put some sort of small glass jar in place of the original. there was a red one in poor condition with the glass jar but no top or nozzle that recently sold as well.

never thought I would get one of these. :)
