This prewar Roadmaster is the bike that started my love for antique bikes when my father bought it from the original owner back sometime in the 80s. Sadly Dad has been gone since January, but yesterday I brought it home to my house.. I plan to keep the Roadmaster as well as his 1940 Bantam and eventually pass them along to my kids when the time comes.

Homemade fender bombs, tail lites, and shifter balls. Some interesting pics, I found the Hurst Gasser Passer in a collapsing garage in Erie PA. Built in `65 by George Hurst and Ohio George Montgomery my buddy bought it, my rat tub,`32 at gas station, paper model of my buddys bus.

A couple of small finds this week 1894 bicycle race metal . Also VFW bicycle plates I’ve never seen before.

The Merkel Motorwheel has arrived back; another one is coming my way; thanks Paul and Scott!
This 1890’s Schwinn pocket watch charm is also due to arrive.

I picked up this '49 DX, with incorrect parts and cruiser paint job. The price was right, and close to home.This will be a klunker project.
