I recently purchased this green 36 CWC Speed from Chad (painted parts only). I haven't taken any pictures. The one I posted was from the eBay add where Chad picked it up from.
My bikes, as they often do, take a temporary back seat to my VW buses.

I just purchased this 1959 36K original mile, numbers matching original paint and interior time capsule out of New Hampshire. Previously unknown in the VW bus collector world.

The original owner, Edward Neumann was a pilot for Pan-Am and purchased it new in Germany, he shipped it to Canterbury Connecticut where he lived. He used it locally and always garage kept. When he passed away nine years ago a collector by the name of Joe bought it from the widow. Joe parked it in his large warehouse and there it sat for an additional nine years.

I placed an add on the Samba two weeks ago looking for a standard Micro bus. Joe saw my add, sent me an email with some pictures and I immediately wired him the money, and lots of it ;). 2700 bucks for a closed transport and a week of travel time, it now resides in my garage along side my other bus. All the original paperwork, tool roll and history was included with the bus.
