1966 Evinrude Aquanaught. Made 5 years ('66-'70). Johnson made them 2 years, '67 ( Scuboy), '68-'69 ( Air-bouy). Mine came complete in a wood plywood box from Texas with masks, hoses, flag, weight belts and truck inner tube ( in the repair mode/made in U.S.A. so wanna keep a quality tube/no China crap) is getting a patch. It's not the yellow factory, but black and I don't think yellow or red/orange truck size inner tubes exist? There never was a formal lawsuit but if it was used in a confined space ( cave) or the gas motor exhaust was near the compressor intake, well....you know how that goes? If I get brave, I could test it in my little above ground pool, but the gas tank is drained, likely keep it for display only. I have a 1966 ( and 1968) folding outboard in carry case and then of course all my other outboards ( even the 1958 space rocket Johnson Super Sea horse 35 and 50 shrouds) on display in Man Cave 1. STOP THE PRESSES. AIR-BOUY was available in 1969 by Johnson motors as well!!
