Added a nice deco, streamlined Steelcraft Zephyr wagon to the collection this week and a few weeks ago picked up a monster of a sled, the 65” Airline Cruiser by Flexible Flyer their second biggest sled (they have an 8 footer!) This is special as it is a 1939 50th anniversary model, complete with commemorative foil sticker,

that is seldom found.

We took a drive to Burnet TX, there's a really cool Antique Mall we like to visit once in a while. Glad we did this trip!

Found a Delta Hawk light, (looks like it's missing a bezel around the lens), St.Christopher bell, 3 jars full of junk drawer smalls...

& a '67 Belvedere fender emblem & Fan name badge from an old 20's desk fan.

I met this cool old Veteran guy while shopping there. We shot the sh*t for a few & when I was leaving he thanked me for visiting with him. I thanked him for his Service & we parted ways. He was very proud of his C & C record album!

Happy Sunday Yall! 😎

Pretty quiet week on incoming goodies both locally and imported, BUT a good long time friend (and trying to retire dealer) emptied my pockets on 3 signs in the last 48 hours. One is adding a 3rd to the group of 5 Coke flange signs from '38 to '42 ( if I recall/he's the expert) with a '39 in good/not prime shape. The painted Royal Tires sign is rare and nice, the Nesbitt thermometer is "whimsical" in it's graphics. It has some serious white paint splatters but I view them as clouds for the angels so won't dream of disturbing the scene.

As usual I think I paid too much but NICE original signs are becoming hard to find and local pickings are the sweetest. I bought ( Ebay) a neat all aluminum toy ( some say dealer promo) Arkansas Traveller boat that has an amatuer resto/paint job, but straight and presentable. It came with a nice K&O '55 Evinrude ( now have an extra) but chose a '55 Merc to hang on it. It actually came stock with the woodgrain mac tac seat ( even along the edges of an unmolested one) and a primitive battery tray I'm not using.

Today it's work on the Donald Duck bike tank to try to get a honk or a quack and the lit up eyes working. Have a good Sunday!
