Sunday's Show and Tell ...4/11/21

Again thank you George for stepping in as the author of last week's post.
But, I made it back.
Hope everyone is safe and enjoying the start of Spring.

Let's see what classics you've found from the past week. Whether, it be bike related or not.
Please, include pictures as we do love pictures!

Found this 1950s Western Flyer Chief steel sided wagon.
Now, I just need to convince the better half that it needs to have a home inside.

Listed locally for about a month for very cheap and he had no takers. Super surprised how nice this bike was when I got there to pick it up.1934 with beautiful triple step wheels, new chrome, new tires, front brake, original dropstand and vintage flag holder

Semi-local "barn find." It was technically in a barn, although, put there more recently. The guy was selling some old bikes and mopeds for his uncle, that his uncle just wanted to get rid of. The rest of the stuff wasn't very old or desirable. It was a "I don't know anything about this stuff, make an offer" type of post.
I asked "how much for the blue ladies bike" and got a reply of "make me an offer." Almost passed since I don't like pricing stuff I'm trying to buy, but I tossed out an offer that I wasn't too sure he'd accept, but he did.
I couldn't quite tell, from the pics he posted, if it was original paint or not. Turns out, there is some house paint on the front section of the frame, with some on part of the front fender, and one small spot on the chainguard. Glad whoever did that, stopped when they did. It's just a thin layer that'll probably come off with a little work.
I asked about the missing pieces, but he didn't have them.
It had this seat cover over the original seat, I took it off and there was a thin layer of foam that had turned orange with time, and was stuck to the seat. I peeled that off, scrubbed it gently with some Simple Green, then hit it with some leather cleaner. I think the seat turned out pretty decent.

Pics are as found, not cleaned up, except the one of the seat with the cover off. That was after I cleaned some of the orange staining off the seat.

Think it's a '41, from the catalog pages I've seen, since it doesn't have the cushion stem or jeweled pedals.

This may not look like much but this is 99 percent complete. I just need bearings and some hardware. I think I have kicking around . But it’s a Colson Snap tank bike.
