Saw this Manton buult Ranger at the Arlington Heights swap last Sunday and ended up grabbing it a couple days later. I had never seen one with this frame style so figured it would look good next to the other Manton Ranger.

working on my Schwinn Varsity Chopper bike and came across a Sturmey Archer drum brake rear wheel with an aluminum rim. went to the bike shop today and bought a fat slick. now I need to widen the rear frame a wee bit. also got a free 24" fork that fits a 26" frame. after spending 1 hour with a thread file restoring the threads and installing it I find that the wedge and partial stem bolt is still in there... so I'll have to find another. definitely needed that fat tire in back and look how the wheel fits in front.
