A package from France arrived; this is a July 1947 edition of Miroir Sprint with a summary of the 15 and 16th stages of the Tour de France. I own a frame and fork of a late 40s professional road racing bike with Tacca’s name painted on the top tube; he won stage 16 in 1947.

A large box was delivered to the door, I was at a trade show several weeks back; I won a cooler in a drawing.

Found this prewar Snyder fastback on Craigslist, guessing around '37 / '38.
Not sure what badge it would have had, but there is remnants of what looked like a Rollfast decal at the bottom of the rear fender.
Got a text from the guy that he intended to send to his girlfriend when I was on the way to pick it up. He sent a pic of the bike, and said "I pulled that bike out of the garbage today and put it on craigslist for $xxx. I sold it in 20 minutes."
I had to laugh about it, but I'm glad he saved it.
The wheels look almost NOS under the dirt, and the Stewart Warner Clipper speedo was a nice bonus.

Also my dad found me this nice ladies Suburban at a garage sale for $6.
Going to clean it up and replace the rear tire and flip it. I get around $125 - $150 in this area for stuff like this.
