Got this one back, prewar Shelby.

I had sold this bike last year to a gentleman in Kansas, he wanted it to display with his rat rod. He contacted me to see if I would be interested in buying it back… with his bad knees he was looking for a powered bike. I was surprised when he showed up in his truck to delivery it, he was on his way to Georgia and I was on the his way there. Best kind of deal…no shipping costs.

Very cool truck and his “new” bike was quite a creation.

Snuck in stealth mode and brought this home last week. My first Special Racer with Chater Lea .Can't read the serial number. Post '21 from the badge. Nickle plating puts it no later than '32 ?
Took it apart cleaned waxed the paint. Plating is shot. Bike has been ridden HARD. A few crashes. Replacement rear wheel(no Chater Lea hub). Handlebars are stamped Iver. Seatpost is 16" long....not Iver. with Persons saddle.

This basically fell in my lap . Cheep and delivered . Great parts bike ! Has a hole drilled through the frame. And a free men’s English bike .

Good week. Old leather covered cable and lock, old hub(toc ?) wrights seat. Early spoke wrench and a Haro 24 Bmx. And a set of drum brake wheels, with 26X 1 3/4 tires, no marking on drums, rims made in England.
