Found a 39 Elgin. Paint and chrome are in very good condition. Has aluminum fenders and an aluminum front loader light. Seat is in great shape with chrome springs and still has the tail light lense.
Also has the original paperwork. The lady is supposed to send me some scans of her mother with the bike when she bought it new.

I got this one in the box on Wednesday and finished reassembling it yesterday. Another 24" for the group, this was purchased from another CABE member (@lounging). He did a great job of packing it and no new damage was noted on initial inspection. This one will be here for a while I think.
Thanks for the deal Bao.
Research says it is a '36 B0

This is an addition to these two 24 inchers that have been here for a short time - The frame/fork is a '38 Columbia, and the maroon one is I believe, a '40 B0CX-

The Columbia gathering stage is underway (not a restoration, just another rider) and the B0CX will need some paintwork due to the shipping process (UPS Strikes Again!)

This should be delivered any day now so I’ll go ahead and post it as I’m pretty excited for it.

Also this week in old news, I finally got around to cleaning and carefully stuffing for form this serious touring / rifle / professional top tube pack measuring about 20” long.

The Protinus Cycle Club was out of Manchester, New Hampshire, this is a treasure that I have come to appreciate more and more.
