A friend and a collector found it in his heart to let this go to me and I’m super grateful, it will get a good thorough cleaning and a mechanical restore and that’s it.
If anyone knows where I could find the tires for this that would be awesome.
Especially looking for the headlights and front guard and handle please shoot me some info.

Great day to be me!

I had a couple of out of town pals visiting and took them for a ride in the '50 Studebaker Commander Deluxe Starlight coupe. Dave is from Westhawk Lake where he has been evacuated from his home/cabin by wildfires the last month, and Don came out on a road trip from lake country north East of Toronto/ Peterborogh, Ontario, Canada. I also had my GF take a pic of 1 of 2 kinda period correct flea market hats ( the other is straw/same style) I will wear in my old cars and cover my sparse grey crabgrass. (NOTE: The U.S. Royal Tires patch on my shirt/posted last week/gift from @my560sec ) I bought a couple of unplayed with tin cars off Ebay that are neat and found a home in my tin car collection already.

I ordered a set of shelves from Amazon ( I order too much crap from there/usually good delivery/no mistakes) but I got an ironing board this week I did NOT order. It took my about 5 years to get my G/F to get hers the heck out of the house. It ( new one/should be getting credit/and shelves instead) went direct to the thrift shop! If it was so dang ugly, I suppose it would display

Listed as one of the top "uncool" fruits of our labours, staining the deck. I'm getting too old for this crap. Lots of fumes and my brain is cooked enough thanks, but enough Bobbing and weaving and bending to go the distance in a prize fight. ( note no drop cloth..."doooohhh" as Homer would say!) I keep moving but not that much. Then I load a heavy guitar amp into a buddies car yesterday/no sweat. Then bend over to pick up Woodies dog "trout" today and.."ouch" my back. Did some laps at the public pool after, seemed to help.
