Wife and I in our attempt to redecorate our home in depression era stuff, wanted to do something different with our modern record player. Found this 1919 Victrola, which was supposed to not work and was partially disassembled (however after assembling it, turns out it does actually work, but needs tuning!) my goal was to not destroy or modify the piece and just hopefully set our turntable down in the top. Well I did just that. I had to drill two holes that are totally hidden unless you look, the original motor drive lifts out and gets set aside. Drop the Bluetooth unit in and plug it into the wall. And the best part is, later on when I have more time, I’ll clean up and service the original motor drive and we will occasionally enjoy some 78’s!! Still have to sort through our 33’s and file them away in the cabinet!
Also picked up a blast cabinet! Have been looking for awhile and found the exact brand and model I wanted used! Amazing price. But have several hundred in new gaskets, seals and service parts. Getting it cleaned up now and in service soon!
Also picked up a new EDC light. Needed something with uv capabilities for leak checking at work and have been looking at this Olight Arkfeld Pro with UV and green laser.
Found this painting dated 1975 at a garage sale. We both liked it.
And we found a litter of 7 kittens next to the garage in the trash wood pile!
