Had this Right whale rib for about 20 years- a good bicycle friend from the Cape Cod area found it diving. - always wanted to display it in a unique way - Found this brass goddess last week at the Brimfield antique show and with a little magic- boom folk art
Hello;
What a great find this bike is.
This is a rare French military bicycle with its original paintwork manufactured at the Roanne arsenal in 1942 on behalf of the Armistice army of the Vichy gouvernement.
The handlebars is not good but its accessories yes.
I picked up a fantastic ladies late 36-early 37 Elgin Swallow with accessory headlight,it looks awesome next to my great Uncles 36!
And when I went to pick the Elgin up we discussed other things I collect came up,mainly skateboards..he went and grabbed his board he built in 1977..A Flite made in Newport RI! SUPER sweet! I cleaned it up a little after these pictures as it was dirty from years of storage but still in excellent condition! Trackers and OJs!
And a super cool and rare prewar hanging rust free Monark tank with horn!
AND I forgot to mention @lgrinnings Thank you for the NOS ND C clips too!!
