Fresh from the original owners estate!
Been wanting a nice 1941 Ladies survivor to go with my 1941 Men's!!
Wrangled this up yesterday morning, thru a close friend. Needs some minor cleaning and a rack tweek from sitting all this time, but the bike is definitely a keeper! Will post some better pics once I've had some time with the bike.
This was a great week! 3 parts of my week.
The rocketastic part: John Alexander made motorbike forks! These are the first 2 I bought. A set of of WIDE Dallas bars I put on one of my rockets as shown and a wooden crate that is addressed to Alexander specialty manufacturing company!
Drove to Indiana to follow up on some old leads. Got a nice original 1964 (D4) Stingray from the original owner. Still has the hang tag/price tag and sales receipt from Krick Hardware in Milan, Indiana. That one will go up on my wall. Also found a Mini Twinn to toss into the swap meet pile.
My best purchase of the week was $3 admission to the Bicycle Museum of America
Wow! It’s the most incredible collection ever!!! Here’s a few pictures I took. Simply amazing place! We were there 3 hours!
Crazy week, Way too much to post but these are some of my favorites
A pair of 66 fastback‘s with perfect seats, and a Stardust ,a Shelby supreme with aluminum rack fluted fenders and a great Edison Mazda light.

I am on a father son trip. He wanted to see the opening of the Oppenheimer film. First we visited Los Alamos, NM, then the Auschwitz exhibit in Simi Valley at the Ronald Regan Presidential Library. Then the movie on 70mm Imax at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Los Angeles. Special thanks to Matt @Barnegatbicycles for alerting us about two killer original Humber bicycles and a rack that were coming up for sale while my kid and I were on our trip. These bicycles came with heaps of "cloak and dagger" intrigue the past few weeks; several people were floating different "porky-pie" stories in attempts to getting them figured out. Most times the straight question gets the best answer. Bicycles do not need to be a nuclear arms race spy game.
