On a tip from Balloonoob, picked up some yard art to try to save at an estate sale. Elgin Motobike.

Very crusty but chrome fenders will straighten out easy, solid fork/truss rods, crank, stem.

Should have looked closer to the left side. A little rot. No big deal. Need to firm up where the bottom of tank meets the side. No biggie.....

But should have seen the top of the chainstays better. The area around the fender bridge is cracked & rusted beyond use. Want to build this up and leave crusty but need someone skilled in replacing this area. (Feel free to contact me if you can do this repair and what you would charge if you need a project and have skills!)

Think I'll just replace the front wheel.....

I found this 18" clock in an antique store (now closed) in Buena Vista, Va. I keep it in garage unplugged mostly since lightning blew the motor. I repaired it with a new old stock motor I bought at a clock shop in Pennsylvania.
Finks Jewelers has been in business starting in Roanoke in 1930. This clock I believe is almost that old.

Picked this men's monark and a women's Henderson badged Schwinn. Been living in a basement for a lone time both bikes have been house painted.

If you pull out the cash drawer there is likely a paper label on the underside.

The label will have the date Of sale and first owner of the machine or the owner when the machine was sent back to NCR to be rebuilt.
