Also bought this 1897ish Schwinn quad. Luckily @catfish sold me a badge for this beast ( thanks). The bike has the double legged fork ,which in the catalog is only seen on the quint , and 4 matching sets of adjustable pedals. If anyone has an 1898 catalog please let me know. Trying to pin down a year.

Outstanding acquisition!
I’m thinking that it’s a late 1898/1899 model, as that is when the triple plate fork crown was introduced.
Here is what I have from the 97/98/99 catalogs.
None of them show the quad with the double blade fork, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t an optional upgrade for anyone who was serious about buying one of those premier cycles.

That double blade fork with the triple plate crown, was the ultimate!
Love it!
Anybody got the 1900 AS&Co catalog?
It would be good to take a look at that one, to see if it helps zero it down any closer.

And last but not least..
Skateboard guys..youll appreciate this one.I found this board on CL..It was $75.Its one of the better colorways for the Vision Mark Gonzales reissues..BUT when I saw the UNDERSIDE I thought how in the world is this thing STILL FOR SALE!?!? It was on Craigslist for 6 days!the deck alone retails for about $75..It looks unridden!!..It has just the old school truck mount holes..
Someone..took NOS 1980s Tracker Ultralight trucks,NOS Tracker copers, lifters and NOS OJII Team Rider wheels and put them on this reissue board..The trucks/copers and wheels are$$$ and they look awesome! I might put pink wheels on it though! I happened to be down the street getting my infusion and made it there with minutes to spare as the consignment place was about to close! very stoked!

Couple recent finds. The 16" Hopalong Cassidy will be for sale in the near future as-is, it's just a bit small for me to ride. Westfield built Mead Ranger, I'll have to do some digging to figure out what is correct as I'm assuming it's missing a tank and luggage rack.
